The consensus coming into this year among cnomist was that we were going to see a slow down, a cool down, not necessarily a contraction. The number of people, thet the rists that people assign to the possibility of recession are rising. Bank of america to day cut its growth forecast for the fourth quarter of next year to under a half%.
