Is London the Financial Hub of Europe?
London is in a lower tax regime than Paris. Are the most important players really going to move to a place that threatens like 90% income tax? It just seems like too much of a problem for me. I remember five years ago when the clients wanted their trades to be done in Frankfurt. And bankers said, we'd rather work at a gas station in London than go to Frankfurt. So it's not to say that it's all sort of, I guess, degrees or it's all relative.
