S&P ASX 200 closed up just a touch to 7,309 points. It's two week lows of last Thursday. During the large caps, CSL and Transurban fell 1%, while Macquarie Group and Newcrest mining both rose 1%. Wall Street jumped by around 1% on the back of strong March quarter earnings. ExxonMobil, for example, its shares hit an all-time high. The commodity markets bring crudeies back above US$80 a barrel,. golds below US$2,000 an ounce, and the Aussie Dollar is buying just over 66 US cents.
