The Benefits of Micro Financing in Africa

Micro financing is the idea that you take a loan and you pay it back in small but more consistent repayments. I think obviously has had a lot of traction in African markets, but we do see examples of it in other parts of the world as well. This may be an unfair question because I don't know if this is your area. But I thought it was interesting that the lending is tied to smartphones and solar power systems,. In a sense trying to lend to customers for things that will help them rather than, let's say, televisions or whatever.
