In this episode i speak with mike albertus associate professor of political science at the university of chicago. We talk about mike's most recent book, property without rights and its origins. Mike examines the agrarian land reforms that have occurred throughout latin america as a vehicle to redistribute land to apeasants. During his work he observed a gap between the strength of rural land tenure we would hope to see after these reforms, and what we do see on the ground.
