There is something in us as humans that seeks a battle to fight. We each have a specific role to play in the Church militant, and a specific job in bringing about God's glory. but when we don't know our unique purpose, when we don't know the battle to which God has called us, too often we create our own meaningless skirmishes that keep us fixed in vice and spending our time critiquing everyone else but ourselves. When we can discover and live the true purpose fo which we've been created, we will also enter the battle that we were destined to fight (and by God's grace, win!) for all eternity--and we will willingly lay down our lives for it.
