Apple Remains Owner of Its Operating System Soft
Apple has much more ongoing and pervasive control over its devices than other companies do. So why isn't that enough for apple to say, look, these are all kinds of our devices? We're willing to own that, and because of that, we are entitled to when people hack our stuff? I mean, igess it's an argument, but it strikes me as a weak argument,. It just doesn't accurately reflect whose data it is and whose computer it is in a way that i think the statute recognizes. And Apple may also be arguing that because they spent time coming up with fixes to their users devices, that they had losses, even if they don't own the computers.
