Science alert reported earlier this week on a research programme called brain gaite that has developed an inner face. It allows a paralyzed subject, a man who volunteered to be part of this, to generate text on a screen just by imagining his own handwriting. So he can think about writing a word by hand, even though he lost all control of his limbs years ago. And that thought will then be interpreted by the system, and then the text will appear on a screen,. reflecting the letters he was imagining himself writing.
