Introduction

Sarah Lyon: Medical knowledge is expanding way faster than we can keep up with. The doubling of medical knowledge in 1950 was 50 years, it would take us to at least 2000 to double that knowledge. In 2020, headed into 2020, it is projected to just be 73 days. More and more journal articles are being published which makes it impossible to keep up with even if we had all the time in the world.
