Futurist Paul Saffo said that when robots can make robots, then energy will approach free. MIT is working on a concept where they're making sort of almost autonomous smart components that can assemble themselves into another robot. So there's another singularity to keep an eye on. I don't know if this prediction is true. What is interesting? It's very interesting. so robots are making robots.
