In chronovirus pandemics, the virus grabbed a whole host gen. These phospho diosteres are actually, we think, end up in corona virus genos to short circuit one of our major commune defences. And so yet, there's that this phenomenon is certainly well described and pretty clear in some cases. But now it's sort of inching back to the edges where im sure this happens, but how frequently it happens? How do we start to differentiate between just the regular course of point mutations that can look like capture event versus bonifid capture event? That's a wide open question.
