The Importance of Religion in Happiness

Being religious, you know, makes me part of a community. It creates greater cohesion. So there are very earthly reasons why my belonging to an organized religion might bring me soulless. But then I don't want to sort of marginalize people who may not be believers because then they might say, well, okay, so am I doomed at least on that dimension?
