Reagan's Big Lies Are the Origins of the Republican Party

The origin of this idea of a deep state and that conspiracy theory can trace back to Ronald Reagan saying, you know, government is the enemy. To me that seems like Reagan's big lie is kind of the original sin of the modern Republican Party. Once you discredit the institution start telling people that government is bad that you can't trust what the government does, then that naturally leadsYou to where we've gotten with distrusting elections. It also by the way leads to seeking to shrink government and regulation and that feeds inequality to just another issue.
