Getting a Deal Done Is the Key to Building Wealth

Hedge funds are buying properties that were never going to come back to a traditional buyer. With a housing shortage, that hurts. I think they're trimming the fat. They're taking the opportunity to sell the ones that maybe they have some trouble with. If they didn't have the relationships with the contractors in these individual markets, plus the labor shortages and the supply of the materials, cost increases would be much higher.
