John Anderson: We need to shake ourselves out of this catastrophism that you've been talking about. For the last 10 years, the globe's farmers have fed, produced enough food and fiber for 10 billion people - well in excess of global population. It has been tough, actually. The managerial side of it's become more difficult. But production has kept rising. Technology, innovation, uptake of those things. You talk about education. We now know that educational opportunities, just like long as ever, have improved out of sight in the developing world over yours and my lifespan. Well, I have four. But I'm grandchildren now.
