Foreign Policy - Is There a Difference Between the Left and the Right?
i'm trying to wrestle with how seriously they take the new fad, or movement, on the right, towards illiberalism. My own view is that asas someone who's conservative of the national review stripe, sees no inconsistency between that and sort of neo conservatism. Rightly understood that you do need to do some policing of your own side so at least your own side has a coherent message before you take it to the other side. And i think that that task is really more on the right than on the left to day. Although there are certainly some tendencies on the left that i find quite worrying as well.
