The Importance of Metaphors in Finance
Some metaphors might stick around for a long time and have longer term value but for the most part. I think we all do that the metaphors can become really confining and constraining, they just get kind of stale pretty quickly. So if you're trying to understand finance it's uncomfortable to not really get it or someone comes up with a useful metaphor and it's that aha moment. It may be that okay, that helped me and that metaphor is really useful.
