Is There a Covid Zero Style Regime?

The psychological temptation to be more authoritarian on the left is still very prevalent. We are not seeing a rise in children hospitalizations for covid. Ah, there's still a lot of panic mongering going on. One of the most revolting things that i've seen over the past week was headline after headline to the effect of children's hospitalizations with covid are up x% or 30%.
