Why Is Mental Health a Political Issue?
I don't remember depression being so endemic as it seems to be now. It really does seem to reflect a structure of society or a real political problem. This so-called mental illness is actually reflecting something that's wrong in the larger society. And by treating it as just a matter of individual pathology, we overlook the social cause.
