Leviticus 19: A Unique Sacrifice

The Levi's and the Aaronic priest were supposed to be guards of the sanctuary. They bore the guilt for making sure that God's worship happened in the way that God had decreed it to happen. This particular sacrifice has to be a, a heifer and it has to be an unblemished red heifer. The color of this particular heifer is chosen in order to make the sacrifice even bloodier.
