The Risk of More Real Estate

The more choices you give the user, the harder of a time they will have finding something useful and making a decision about where to go next. So we have this case of larger screens, but we want to have less information. We're moving towards less information than most designs I'm working with. And I've made the case tons of times about the right hand column. Just ditch it. It's not helping your user. It's just distracting your user.
