Amy clobachar, tom cotton introduced a platform competition and opportunity act on friday. It would prevent big tech companies like amazon, facebook and gougle from acquiring rival firms. The law only applies the companies of a certain ize firms that have a net annual sales of 600 billion dollars in the prior calendar year,. With a market cap of greater than 600 billion dollars. Facebook and amazon, for instance, both have market caps well above 600 billions.
