What Is Hyraesis?
Tertos, this Roman guy calls Christianity a hyraesis, a sect. In Acts 5, 17, we read the high priest rose up and all who are with him were filled with jealousy. So it's sort of a neutral term, it just refers to a sect within the religion. But you can obviously tell, hyraesis sounds a little bit like heretic.
