From the 19th century into the 20th century, you have huge movements that begin to shift towards the gospel of social issues. What revivalism wants is a culture of Christian activism. We fetishize youth and it's led to the church being married to activism. Instead of viewing the Missio Day again as the long-term colonization of the world, disciplining the nations so there is genuine transformation.
