The Goal of Financial Inclusion Requires a System of Fast Payments

The World Bank has been getting everyone in the world connected to the formal financial system. So working toward fast payments has been a big goal of people who are working toward global financial inclusion. The Gates Foundation has been a great partner and sponsor for this kind of work. And while progress, to some extent, has been made on financial inclusion indicators, there is still a lot of ground to be covered.
