Manifesto instead points to religions as playing the historical role of trying to curb our desire for power and control. The manifesto even talks about creating a confibilist party to reignite hope in liberal democracy. I won't think that the direction people have taken confibilism is radical enough because it leaves room for its foreign-existent structures.
