R Ragnar was engaged to the daughter of a king with a super-cow. He couldn't reconsider the engagement because King Eistein would take it as an extreme insult and maybe make war against him. The baby's eyes were the image of a snake biting its own tail, which is named Sigurd after his grandfather. And words spread throughout the world that the daughter of Sigurd and Brent Hill had survived.
