Historical drama superimposes, i'm past, present and future. I'm through the body of the actor. The henry four plays have imbedded within them a further double exposures that do this same operation. So if an actor am is a histora seen from a history, play is a double exposure where we are seeing simultaneously the present body of the Actor and the past figure who is being represented through the actor. We are also seeing the future.
