How Much Is Beer and How Much Is Foam?
The stock market is really two very different things. It's the beer, the actual operating businesses we can own a part of. And number four, we play in the wrong end of the pool. When you look at the daily price of a stock, it's impossible to know how much is foam. That's why a company can plum it in value one day and soar next. This is the market that if you're smart and want to build wealth over time, you will absolutely ignore. No one's going to sit on their t v while some rational person talks about long term investing.
