The Importance of Using the Word Gospel in Our Own Language
The Bible uses the word gospel in some very particular ways. And we ought to use it in all those ways because we're people of the book, but we shouldn't be like importing our own definitions into the word. So then maybe help walk us through some of those importer definitions. What have you encountered? Whether it's just simple, slight, nuanced misunderstandings of the gospel or perhaps full-blown distortions of the gospel.
