Herrywood's Uprising

Herrywood rebels because his family land has been taken by the normans. He ends up going to william and saying, i'll stop rebelling if i can have my lands back. There is no consideration in there for anybody else. And so well, it's easy to see him as this romantic, altruistic, heroic figure who is trying to counter the norman conquest. But when he gets those manners back, he stops. So maybe he's not quite as noble as we think he was.
