Are the Ads So Valuable for Historical Research?

Maryland and georgia, are there any recurring trands that we can identify? About what type of enslaved people escaped. Do we have any sense whether they were young or old, whether they ad escaped on their own or in a group? For example, very broadly speaking, we know the escape occurs every day.
