What Do You Think Castles Can Tell Us About Our History?
I don't think there are many constants. But i suppose, if there is a constant, it is fortifications. The idea that battlements denote something about the person who lives in a building. I mean, one of the things i talk about is the disney castle, for example. It's completely fictional, and it doesn't necessarily look particularly defensible but it it somehow speaks of fortification and identity.
