As a doctor, like what's the most bizarre thing that you've ever seen or heard from a patient? Seeing I could probably write an entire book of the stuff I've seen. One of the probably one of the scariest things I've seen when I first started out in surgery was a patient who had their intestines hanging out of them. There was a very confused, delirious patient on one of the elderly care wards in my first year as a doctor. A really horrible chest infection which didn't respond to antibiotics and their family wanted to just stop any antibiotic care and all care.
