Another thing is to put institute work requirements. If you're getting a social service benefit, a welfare benefit from the government, you need to be either working or looking for work. We had a bipartisan consensus on that in the 90s and it lasted for nearly 30 years. And now this administration says no, we don't want to require people who are getting a check from the government to have to work or look for work.
