Is There Stillness in the Sanctuary?
I've been going now for 24 years. I've stayed there more than 70 times, and i really think that's my secret home. And wherever i am travelling in the world, i have the image of am that little room with the pacific below it in my head. And i feel that really steadies and grounds me in the way i need in a world of tumult. You make the same connection when you write explicitly about spirituality. It arises out of the disjunction between us and the transcendent. We meet our demons as well, i feel like thats there.
