The Land of Israel

Abraham promised the Holy Land to his descendants, but they end up in exile. They never do regain full ownership of the land when they return from exile. The land was always a temporary gift to Israel and has no theological significance after Christ's coming. When Christ fulfills all the promises of God, then the land of Israel really has no more significance.
