Is There a Walmart in America?
In the late 90s, I began to look at other big retailers like that. Then I got out here to, to California. There was a big strike in 2003 in, in LA, in the grocery industry. And so we had a conference on Walmart because that's the reason for this strike. It turned out that Peter Drucker had been on to, to retail long before he wrote some of his famous essays about distribution. He said, "No one knows what goes on in the world of distribution." So anyway, I thought, I thought Walton was an important company and it is.
