Investors don't like what they see. Should markets be allowed to run riot? That's why we have government in the first place. This is why we need a government that will support people when you have such a thing as an energy crisis. The trickle down policies of trust, giving tax breaks to higher income workers while not having any guarantee about medium term debt levels was not something which investors absorbed easily. And that is the factor that the market really has disapproved on.
