How Many Communities Can I Affend at Once?
Ollie London came out as non-binary and Korean, while others said that Ollie came out as a Korean woman who uses they-them pronouns. There's no problem with feeling close to and identifying with one culture more than another; it's the transracial part that I fully disagree with. Transracial identity in of itself is dependent on factors outside of someone, like ancestry, but gender is a social construct,. It undermines the real struggle that people of color and transgender people go through if we're going to say it on more general terms.
