The Edwardian Era Was Different From the Victorian Era
i'm going to throw two questions at once to you ause we've got a lot to get through for to day. How was the edwardian era different to the victorian period? And katy's table on instagram has asked, the edwardians see themselves as modern? I wonder if you could tackle those two together for us. So i on a very basic level, the edwards were aware that they were distinctly modern. They were global in outlook. There was this awareness that with the passing of queen victoria, a new age s was a beckoning. This was a modern, exciting, global self confident period.
