LZ Granderson: Your dissertation really kind of talked about outness. And so can you share a little bit about your dissertation and that work? LZ: Absolutely. I found that I could bring this kind of activist lens, this queer lens into a lot of these counseling forces. But it felt like a space where there was a lot of room for growth as well.
