There is a massacre, not coincidentally, the people who get away tend to be the wealthier. The poor, the old are probably killed. There is a massive slave market that comes out of this. And according to slightly apocryphal stories, but probably not totally, there's a final massacre. A whole group of Mamluk's and Muslims go in - killing 2,000 people. So it's a grand finale to the whole thing. They're all killed alongside each other. Yes. I think there's some truth in it, but everybody is talking up in all sorts of ways"
