The Federal Reserve is a private corporation that has a mission essentially to liquefy balance sheets of banks, right? That's his job. It's going to be the lender of last resort and essentially create money out of thin air by lending money to these institutions. And then they can deposit it back with the Fed and earn interest or they can buy government bonds. But at some point, we reach, and I think we have reached, in many cases, the tipping point where now we're generating debt and spending just because we have to.
