The Importance of Strategy in Options Trading
In 1975, I started a little newsletter in 1975, maybe 74 that I was publishing really from my house and iron bogey was one of my subscribers. At that time there was only one strategy book that I ever remember reading with a body guy named James Curdin. He sort of denounced options like this, but he had written his book on actual racial spreads. And so I just kind of expanded on that. It was written in a book. So I just never told him that these various things were going to happen or what the outcome would be. With the aid of the model then it seemed pretty logical to me that you try to find a strategy that had a theoretical edge to it
