King george em was one of theforces behind withdrawing briton's offer of asylum to the family of czar nicholas. The king and his private secretary made lots of arguments about why it should be withdrawn. They're very concerned about the unpopularity of the csar and the csarina in britain. And so you do get a sense at court of huge fears, and that british workers might rise up and overthrow the over overthrow of the monarchy.
