When Mark Zuckerberg first took around Facebook as an investment, it was kind of in some sense like a tail end of social networks. Most investors said, well, you know, this social network stuff sucks. And so almost everybody passed except for one small group of investors who were stunned by what they saw. They knew that Friendster had these software glitches. You know, it wasn't really working very well and the website was very slow. It wasn't a bad business model at the time.
