Not long before she disappeared, michel told bob that she and george had stolen 400 dollars worth of crack from those dealers. There are dozens of reports dealing with times michel old police about being even locked out of her own apartment by people. So now that michel is missing, bob starts thinking back to that story about the drug package, and he wonders if maybe they both stole the drugs, but george put all the blame on michel. Maybe the drug dealers did kill her, or maybe they told george that he had to handle it.
