The All England Games
The all England games were like a Kerry Packer circus. The best players had to play against more players in order to equalize it. Tom Haywood took 267 wickets at an average of 15 with the ball, which is nothing remarkable today. But he still has a 15 for 59 and a 9 for 30 in his stats page to this day in his Kent 16 game. He should not have first-class status. And there is no reason why this can't be altered retrospectively. It does not stand up now nor do they stack up anymore.
