Anti-Valentine's Day Holidays
People will spend $20 billion on Valentine's Day, with the average gift costing $110. The companies that profit from it have spent hundreds of millions of dollars marketing it. This has led to several anti-Valentine's Day holidays around the world. In China there is something called Singles Day - a celebration of being single. And one emerged out of a TV series called Parks and Recreation which celebrates Galentine’s Day day before February 14th.
